MegaMusic Privacy Policy

Effective September 26, 2026

Who we are

MegaMusic is offered by Daniel Hulsman, operating Sword & Satchel (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Questions may be sent to hullysworld@gmail.com.

What the MegaMusic app handles

The current version of MegaMusic does not require an account. Songs and their details—including notes, instruments, tempo, loop settings, names, and dates—are stored locally on the device. The app does not transmit those songs to us.

The current version does not include advertising, behavioral analytics, cloud syncing, in-app purchases, or third-party tracking. If those features change, we will update this policy before or when the change takes effect.

What the website collects

The website is separate from the app. If an adult submits a support request, we may collect the adult’s email address, message, technical details the adult chooses to provide, and related correspondence. If an adult signs up for app updates, we collect the adult’s email address and consent records.

Our website and service providers may also process ordinary technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, and cookies needed to operate and secure the site. We avoid nonessential tracking on pages directed to families.

How we use information

We use support information to answer requests, troubleshoot problems, keep service records, and protect our services. We use update-signup information only to send the communications the adult requested. Support requests do not automatically enroll anyone in marketing.

Service providers and disclosures

We use HubSpot to host website pages and manage support and email signups. These providers process information for us under their own security and privacy terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

Children’s privacy

MegaMusic is designed for children, but website support and email forms are for parents, guardians, and other adults. Children should not submit personal information. Adults should not include a child’s name, age, school, photo, recording, precise location, contact details, or other sensitive information in a support request. If we learn that a child submitted personal information through the website, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

Retention

We keep support records only as long as reasonably needed to provide support, maintain security and business records, or meet legal obligations. Our current target is to remove or anonymize ordinary support records within 24 months after a request is closed unless a longer period is needed. Update-subscription records are kept until the adult unsubscribes or asks us to delete them, subject to records needed to honor that choice.

Your choices

Marketing emails will include an unsubscribe option. Adults may ask to access, correct, or delete information they submitted by emailing hullysworld@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the information we handle. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Changes

We may update this policy as MegaMusic or the website changes. We will post the revised date here and provide additional notice when appropriate.
